7 Things You Need To Understand About 10-minute Cooking

There aren’t many recipes that you can make in such a short period of time.

This is because most Indian dishes require a longer cooking time in order to bring out the flavors of the spices and ingredients used.

However, there are some methods you can use to speed up the cooking process without compromising on taste.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when cooking Indian food in under 10 minutes –

  1. Use pre-cut or pre-cooked ingredients wherever possible. This will help to reduce the cooking time.
  2. Use a pressure cooker or Instant Pot for cooking dishes that would traditionally require a longer cooking time.
  3. Try simple recipes that don’t require a lot of ingredients or complex cooking techniques.
  4. Use frozen or canned vegetables to reduce the preparation time.
  5. Opt for quick-cooking rice varieties such as basmati or jasmine rice if you’re short on time. You can prepare them much before cooking your main rice delicacy.
  6. Similarly, you can prepare the dough for naan or roti in advance and store it in the fridge.
  7. Prepare masalas and other gravy preparations in advance and store them in the freezer. This will help you cook a dish quickly when you’re short on time.

With these tips in mind, you can easily make delicious Indian dishes in a short period.

That said, Indian food tastes a lot better when you make it with fresh ingredients and a slow cooking method.

I generally prefer slow-cooking methods like Dum Cooking whenever I can.

With this type of method, you get a really amazing taste for your preparation that is simply unparalleled.

But, if you’re looking for recipes that can be made in a hurry without losing too much flavor, the above ones should work just fine.
