Pani Puri or Golgappa is probably the most favorite snack in India today.
It’s because of its unique texture and combination.
You would not find any other snack that gives you the joy of having so many different flavors in a single bite.
The sweet and tangy taste of the water (Paani) and the savory taste of Puri makes it a perfect snack for the evening.
And yes, not to forget the tasty fillings of Mung beans, mashed Potatoes, or boiled Chickpeas.

Once ready, the mixture is then stuffed into a thin Maida-based cone to prepare the traditional Samosa.
You can also make different types of Samosas with store-bought Maida sheets.
As for the origin, the Samosas may have traveled from the middle east.
Also, the Potatoes arrived late in the country, as the Portuguese introduced them during the colonization era.
So, the Samosas do seem like a not-so-old snack in Indian food culture.

Misal Pav, as the name says, is a combination of Misal (Legumes Curry) and Pav (Bread).
And unlike other fast food recipes, its recipe changes in each city of Maharashtra.

If you want square-shaped Kothimbir Vadis, you will have to spread the mixture on a plate or tray.
The flattened mixture will help in cutting the Vadis into a diamond or square shape.
